Veryan Bliss is the Fruit & Vegetables Advisor to the “More Than Only Food & Drink” campaign. She is a real pillar in the Fruit and Vegetable Industry, with a career dedicated to improving fresh produce supply chains. Her leadership, innovative strategies, and commitment to quality and safety continue to set industry standards. As well as being the Co-chair at Waitrose Agronomy Group & Waitrose Farming Partnership Group for 20 years, Veryan was the Commercial Technical Director of Suncrop Produce Ltd (2003 to 2022). During this time, she enabled business growth from £9 million to £50 million and developed strategic partnerships focusing on 'British First’. She recently became an independent industry consultant advisor, delivering expert technical and strategic client support by leveraging extensive industry experience and networks.
