The Guild of Food Writers Awards 2025 finalists announced

The Guild of Food Writers has announced the shortlist for its annual Awards – the most prestigious accolades in UK food writing and broadcasting.
The winners will be revealed at the Awards Ceremony on Wednesday, 18 June 2025, at the Royal Institution, 21 Albemarle Street, London W1S 4BS. The presentation will take place in the Royal Institution’s world-famous theatre.
This year’s shortlist celebrates emerging voices such as Toyo Odetunde, Gus Zhu MW, and Eleanor Barnett, alongside established names including Yotam Ottolenghi, Sheila Dillon and Tim Anderson. The Awards honour the depth of expertise, creativity and diversity in contemporary food media.
