Entrepeñas named Great Taste 2026 Supreme Champion at Golden Forks ceremony

Spanish producer Entrepeñas has been crowned Great Taste 2026 Supreme Champion for its Wagyu Beef Ham, as this year’s leading food and drink products were celebrated at the Great Taste Golden Forks.

Organised by the Guild of Fine Food, the awards ceremony took place at Battersea Arts Centre on Tuesday 15 September, bringing together producers, buyers and industry figures from across the international speciality food and drink community.

Entrepeñas also received the Golden Fork from Spain for its Wagyu Beef Ham before the product was selected as the overall Supreme Champion of Great Taste 2026.

Speciality & Fine Food Fair was proud to sponsor the Golden Fork from the Rest of World, which was awarded to Payst for its Hung Lay Curry Paste. Inspired by the rich, aromatic curries of northern Thailand, the winning paste was recognised among the finest products entered into this year’s awards from outside Europe.

Other regional winners included Primrose Creamery, which received the Golden Fork from England for Eggleston, and Sour Power Vinegars, winner of the Golden Fork from Scotland for its Sicilian Blood Orange & Warm Spices Alcohol Free Aperitif.

Fire and Ice claimed the Golden Fork from Wales for its Passion Fruit Sorbet, while Hannan Meats received the Northern Ireland award for its Buttermilk Dry Cure Bacon Rack. Green Pastures Donegal won the Golden Fork from Ireland for its 25% Sour Cream.

The international winners also included Honey from Paleros, awarded the Golden Fork from Greece for its Blossom Honey with Thyme and Oregano, and Apicoltura Marangon, which received the Golden Fork from Italy for Miele di Barena. Finnish producer Kuopion Perinnetuote took home the Golden Fork from the Rest of Europe for its Stone Kiln Cold Smoked Rainbow Trout Fillet.

The ceremony also recognised producers and individuals making a wider contribution to the food and drink industry. Primrose Creamery received the Golden Fork for Outstanding Bursary Winner for Lindley, Kadode Kampot Pepper UK received the Golden Fork for Sustainability and Anchoas Hazas received the Golden Fork for Better Business.

Cashel Farmhouse Cheesemakers won the Nigel Barden Heritage Award for Organic Cashel Blue, while food and drink broadcaster Nigel Barden received the Guild of Fine Food Contribution to Food & Drink award.

The Golden Forks are the culmination of the annual Great Taste judging process and celebrate the most exceptional products identified by the Guild of Fine Food’s expert judging panels.
