The Fabulous Catch Company is on a mission to transform the humble fishcake into something truly extraordinary. Based in the beautiful New Forest on the south coast of England, we create a range of handmade, sustainable, and award-winning fish products that celebrate the best of British seafood while supporting local fishing communities.
Founded in 2012 by food projects consultant Hayley Elston, Catch began with a simple yet powerful idea: to champion the declining UK fishing industry and promote sustainable seafood. What started as the legendary “Festival Fish Finger Sandwich” at Camp Bestival has grown into a proudly independent food business, supplying gourmet fishcakes, crabcakes, bisques, and our much-loved Fabulous Fishy Fingers.
At the heart of Catch is a commitment to sustainability, seasonality, and local sourcing. All of our fish is responsibly caught, and we work closely with local growers and producers to bring fresh, seasonal ingredients to every recipe. From haddock and New Forest asparagus with parmesan and white truffle, to subtly spiced award-winning creations like The Bollywood, our products blend traditional flavours with contemporary culinary flair.
Our range has been guided and refined with the help of Michelin-starred chef Herbert Berger, who has been an active part of Catch since 2016. His creative expertise ensures every product delivers exceptional taste, texture, and quality.
