ECCEUKCH is a three-year programme aiming at strengthening the competitiveness of the European Union's agricultural sector, in line with the objectives of Art. 2 of EU Reg. no. 2014/1144.
The main goal is to explain the characteristics of PDO and PGI Olive Oil in terms of quality, variety, taste, organoleptic diversity, passing through a path in which both the European Green Deal and Farm to Fork policies and the traditions and history of the Mediterranean populations are strongly present.

PDO products must be produced, processed and prepared in a specific region using traditional production methods. The raw materials must also be from the defined area whose name the product bears.
