Sussex Blue
A distinctive blue with a mild, creamy blue flavour and a semi-hard texture. Made with pasteurised mild and typically uses vegetarian rennet.
It offers a smooth and creamy taste with a gentle blue note. It can, as it matures, develop stronger blue characteristics
Sussex Blue is semi-hard cheese with small blue veins and a natural, edible rind.
It has obtained many awards, including Gold at the British Cheese Awards and a silver at the World Cheese Awards.
Excellent on a cheeseboard and can be sliced, crumbled or melted, becoming more pronounced when heated.
