PDO Olive Oil (Protected Designation of Origin):

A premium olive oil recognized by the EU as being produced, processed, and prepared entirely within a specific geographical area, using traditional methods unique to that region.

The certification guarantees a direct link between the oil’s quality, taste, and the territory it comes from (climate, soil, local olive varieties, and traditional know-how).

Every step, from olive cultivation to pressing and bottling, must occur within the defined region to preserve authenticity.

PDO olive oils are often distinctive in flavor and aroma, reflecting the terroir (similar to wine appellations).

To prepare for this exciting launch, the Fair will not be taking place in 2026, returning in its new format in 2027.
