Negra Harvest Two&One Olive Oil
Negra is an important harvest for us, delivering the most widely available and arguably the most loved olive oil that we make.
It is an all-rounder, a crowd pleaser that everyone enjoys, due to its deep mature flavour. It’s delicate enough to drizzle on salads, excellent for sautéing and at the same time great for pan frying a special treat or making a delicious sponge cake.
The harvest starts in December when most of the olive trees are fully ripe and laden with delicious, healthy fruit. The veraison period has finished and the olives are deep purple and black and full of juice. Collecting these olives is slightly easier than earlier in the season as the ripe fruit is ready to be picked and sometimes falls straight into your hand!
