The Brigidino di Lamporecchio was born in the homonymous Tuscan tiny town during the Middle Age. Created by a Swedish nun who decided to revisit the recipe of the Christian host.
Today, this little sweet treat has become the symbol of Lamporecchio and Rinati company - leader in the sector - in addition to the traditional version, produces it in other flavours in order to meet the consumer who does not like the taste of anise.
