Family business since 1951. We are based in the first sheep's milk producing region in Spain, in the city of Medina del Campo. El Gran Cardenal produces a daily range of cheeses from fresh milk that enjoy great prestige and recognition in the Spanish and international markets.
PGI "Queso Castellano" of 100% Castellana sheep's milk (five years GOLD medals in World Cheese Awards). Iberico cheese made in family with an exquisite recipe of three milks (sheep, goat and cow). Mixed cheese made by family recipe with a mixture of sheep and cow's milk.
SPECIALTIES, a great conviction of our cheeses with some ingredients such as Truffle (SuperGold medal in World Cheese Awards), Black Garlic, Rosemary, Red Pepper, Extra Virgin Olive Oil (AOVE), Ribera Del Duero Wine and "Primavera" (Turmeric & more)
