  • ADD INCREDIBLY DELICIOUS FLAVOUR TO ANY DISH: Commonly used in Japan to sprinkle over plain rice. Can also sprinkle on eggs, avocados, poached salmon, salads, sandwiches, pasta, and noodle dishes. A final touch on any dishes to add crunch and enhance the flavor.
  • HIGH FIBRE, SOURCE OF PROTEIN: Enjoy 15g of fibre and 19g of protein per 100g. UK government guidelines say our dietary fibre intake should be 30g a day. Currently, only 9% of adults meet the recommended amount of fibre. Are you taking enough fibre in your daily diet? A claim that a food is a source of protein can be made where at least 12% of the energy value of the food is provided by protein. In Emma Basic Furikake, protein contributes to 16% of the total energy value.
  • NO ADDITIVES, NO COLOURINGS: Emma Baisic Furikake seasoning is the combination of natural and simple ingredients, adds a distinctive flavour to any dish.
  • SUITABLE FOR VEGANS: All ingredients in Emma Basic Furikake are vegan. There is a precautionary allergen statement included in the label, which should not be an obstacle to labelling a product as vegan.
  • EASY TO USE BOTTLE: The conventional furikake packaging is a flat bag, not so convenient. Emma Basic furikake comes in a double flip lids bottle, easy to shake & sprinkle, perfect to use in cooking or as a table condiment.

The Next Chapter for Speciality & Fine Food Fair

From 2027, Speciality & Fine Food Fair will take place 5 – 7 April at Excel London, as part of Food, Drink & Hospitality Week to be the UK’s largest food & drink trade event.

This exciting move will connect our incredible community of speciality producers and buyers with 25,000+ verified trade visitors, creating even more opportunities for products to be discovered, tasted and stocked by buyers across retail, hospitality, wholesale and foodservice.

To prepare for this exciting launch, the Fair will not be taking place in 2026, returning in its new format in 2027.

While the scale grows, the heart of the Fair stays the same - a curated showcase of exceptional producers and a spirit of discovery, now with even greater commercial reach.

We’re incredibly excited about this next chapter and can’t wait to build it with you.
