Among those hoping to pick up accolades is Belhaven Smokehouse, in the running for the Artisan Product of the Year thanks to its charcoal smoked salmon, as well as Fish and Seafood Product of the Year for its cured cold smoked salmon.
East Linton-based Brose Oats is a finalist in the Artisan Product of the Year for its Brose Original Style.
Meanwhile, Macmerry’s John Gilmour Butchers has been shortlisted in the Scotch Brand Product of the Year, for its Tweed Valley 35-day dry aged côte de boeuf, and a finalist in the Best for Scottish – Independent category, alongside Musselburgh-based Hickory.
Hickory is also in the running for the Employer of the Year prize.
Finally, Kilduff Farm’s Sweet Apple Juice is a finalist in the Soft Drinks Product of the Year category.
