Nine shortlisted start-ups pitched live to an audience and our judges in a ‘Dragon’s Den’ style competition.
Our intrepid entrepreneurs pitched to an impressive panel of experts chaired by Jayne Noblet and David Webb of The Seed Fund. Each entrant was briefed to brave the challenge with advice on presenting, sampling and summing up - it was a business face-off not to be missed!
The ultimate winner was Norty Puds, who will be invited back to Speciality & Fine Food Fair 2019 with a free-of-charge stand, as well as receive a copy of new book ‘The Winning Mix: Launch and Grow Your Food Business Without Selling Your Soul' by Claire Brumby.
Start-Up Spotlight sessions take place on the Food for Thought Stage.
