Alex Ririe
Alex is strategy director at award-winning food and beverage branding consultants, The Collaborators. She has over 25 years’ experience across marketing, advertising and branding gained both client- and agency-side. Having started out in advertising, and then a stint at Kwik Save and Somerfield, she moved into the world of branding. Clients included Magnum, Heinz, Persil and Mars and she was responsible for the creation and naming of Rowntrees Randoms – one of Nestle’s biggest ever confectionery NPD launches.
With a WSET Level 4 Diploma, Alex specialises in drinks. She is a Great Taste Awards spirits judge and has advised all types of businesses from start-ups to global brands. During her nine years at global branding agency, Coley Porter Bell, she headed up the Pernod Ricard account, working on award-winning packaging and NPD for brands such as Perrier-Jouët, Chivas Regal, Olmeca Altos, Beefeater and Martell. At The Collaborators, she is responsible for the strategic direction of brands such as Filey Bay Single Malt, Exton Park, Jamu Wild Water and Freja. She is a mentor on The Seed Fund – the philanthropic accelerator programme set up by The Collaborators and now run in conjunction with the Guild of Fine Food.
