For 22 years, Speciality & Fine Food Fair has provided an unrivalled opportunity for producers to meet and create meaningful business connections with over 10,000 buyers from across the fine food & drink industry. We recently chatted to our exhibitor, La Tua Pasta, about how the Fair has helped boost their brand awareness and support their business growth.

La Tua Pasta

Please tell us about your company journey and how you started out.

La Tua Pasta was founded in 2006 by an inspiring Italian couple, Francesco Boggian and his wife Caroline, who decided to bring a taste of Italy to the UK by making truly authentic Italian pasta. They wanted the pasta to be so good, and so fresh, that chefs would be proud to serve it as their own hand-made pasta. Moreover, they wanted to create a friendly business environment where the team could flourish. The belief is that a happy and dedicated team gives you great customer service as well as delicious pasta. With these founding principles, and a small team of pasta makers, they developed over 300 types of fresh and filled pasta. La Tua first sold pasta at farmer’s markets, including the famous Borough Market, and soon became the pasta makers of choice for many of the top restaurants, hotels and delis in London and beyond.

How has Speciality & Fine Food Fair helped grow your business?

Speciality & Fine Food Fair has continually supported La Tua Pasta over the years, giving us a fantastic opportunity to showcase our products to lots of independent retailers across the UK. It’s great to be able to meet lots of potential customers in such a short space of time over the 2 days of the Fair, who are looking for quality products and innovative ideas.

95% of people say face-to-face meetings are a key factor in successfully building and maintaining long-term business relationships.* Tell us why meeting buyers at Speciality & Fine Food Fair is so important to you?

La Tua Pasta

Being an artisan family business, with real people and pasta artisans behind the brand, we believe that meeting our customers in person is fundamental to portray the passion we have for what we do and to build long-lasting business relations. It also gives people the opportunity to touch, taste and learn about our artisan pasta.

What are you looking forward to most at the 2021 Fair?

We can’t wait to meet our customers and prospects face-to-face again, something that we have been missing very much in the last year. With the COVID-19 pandemic and the closure of the hospitality sector, it has been a big challenge for our business but it gave us the opportunity to expand our offering, refresh our branding and bring in some new sustainable packaging options!

Just like La Tua Pasta, we want to support your brand in an ever-changing and competitive industry. You can find more about exhibiting here
