Piquillo Peppers from Lodosa P.D.O (Navarra)
The Lodosa piquillo peppers are roasted over an open flame, peeled, and deseeded by hand. They are then jarred in their own juices to retain the flavour, consistency, and natural sugars of the pepper. No chemicals are used in the production process and they are not washed in water as this reduces their flavour. Shaped like little bags, they are typically stuffed with meat, seafood or fish.
