Marqués de Valdueza
Historians know the name Valdueza for the relevance of the Álvarez de Toledo family in the history of Spain, Europe, and America. Romantics will tell you that we are one of the last families that still drives cattle on horseback from Extremadura to Ávila. For gourmets, the name Valdueza means a magnificent olive oil, red wine, vinegar, and honey.
The family places enormous importance on the conservation of the environment. They carefully combine tradition with technical advances to produce the highest quality products. This philosophy extends to the design so that the products look as good as they taste.
The Valdueza Extra Virgin Olive Oil is a blend of Arbequina, Picual, Hojiblanca and Morisca olives. As elegant as ever, this year’s Valdueza smells fresh and heady - orange zest and bitter leaves are detectable, while in the mouth there is a satisfying nuttiness which balances these flavours. With a creeping spiciness, the black pepper finish lasts long in the mouth, mingling with notes of orange flesh, too.
