Did you know that one third of all food produced in the world is wasted? And that bread is the worst waste culprit, with (44%) of all bread baked in the UK going to waste?

Aiming to change the agenda around food waste in the UK, Goüter is a unique tasty chocolate snack made using exclusively local ingredients and rescued bread that would otherwise go to waste. 

These little clusters of climate activism are also putting British chocolate back on the map, using premium artisan chocolate that has a high cocoa content, no palm or soy ingredients and has less sugar than mainstream milk chocolate.

Goüter use a plastic-free processing and packaging method that means each bite is a different shape and size, following Goüter's mission of being about 'eco not ego'.

Goüter is founded by Joel Manuvelpillai.  He has spent his career exploring innovations in chocolate and different ways of doing things. His strong technical background and analytical thinking has seen Joel responsible for the development and management of new products for both artisan and global chocolate brands such as Cadbury’s, Milka and Godiva.

Goüter is his chance to think outside the chocolate box and not play by the rules, combining his ability to make chocolate magic with his passion to create real change in the food industry.
