Biggest, Brightest and Best Stand
PRESS RELEASE
BIGGEST, BRIGHTEST AND BEST EVER STAND AT SPECIALITY!
Kitchen Garden Foods Ltd is taking the plunge this year and having agreed that The Speciality and Fine Food Fair is the best place to showcase the range, is taking its biggest stand yet.
The company, which first began making its award winning jams, chutneys, marmalades and condiments over twenty years ago, rebranded the entire range in 2009. The re-branding was a turning point in the company’s development and helped to reinforce an image that successfully married traditional values with a bright, modern design.
The stand will be framed with large, colourful banners with photographs of owners Barbara and Robin Moinet’s own kitchen garden and customers will be invited to sit at a garden table and chairs to sample product or discuss ranges. The stand will be dressed as a still life representation of a typical vegetable garden and orchard – complete with wellies, trugs, garden implements, fruit and vegetables and will encapsulate the essence of that great British tradition of preserving gluts of fruit and vegetables in season for use throughout the year.
Since rebranding, Kitchen Garden is delighted to have gained some notable new customers including Caviar House, The Wine Society, The Garden Centre Group and exports to Germany through distributor Lacross GmbH. Further export possibilities are opening up in China, Japan and Korea for 2012.
But the company’s success is not just due to re-branding, but also to the consistently high quality of its products and this year two further gold stars from The Great Taste Awards (for Lime Marmalade and Red Onion Marmalade)have been added to a list of nearly 50 industry awards.
Joint owner Barbara Moinet is optimistic about the future. ‘Despite facing the same difficulties that all companies are having at the moment, trying to plan for a future in an uncertain economic climate, nevertheless we remain positive. We have weathered many storms over the last twenty two years and have learned to be flexible and to adapt to change. We have many exciting opportunities ahead of us.’
