The Tomato Stall wins Great Taste Gold 2011

We are very pleased to announce that we have been awarded 3 Gold Stars at this years Great Taste Awards!!

The Three products that impressed the judges were;

Sunshine Yellow Tomato Juice;
The sweetest yellow Cherry tomatoes go straight into this juice with nothing added and just the skins and seeds removed - 100% pure, delicious, healthy and refreshing, and grown with maximum care
The Golden tomato has a little extra sweetness than its more traditional red cousin!
Best served ice cold from the ridge. Our sunshine tomato juice is tasty, healthy and naturally lower in acid

Garlic Oak Roasted Tomatoes;
An addition to the old favorite! We start by selecting Ripe, Intensely flavored tomatoes full of natural sweetness. The tomatoes are cut in half, laid onto trays and sprinkled with a pinch of sea salt. We then roast them slowly over night which helps to caramelize the natural sugars in the tomato, ensuring they are full of flavor. Oak Sawdust is produced for us by our local saw mill.
This is then gently smoldered and used to cold smoke the tomatoes over a period of hours.
Once the smoking process has finished, the tomatoes are packed into a Garlic Infused Sunflower Oil. Great dropped into salads, added to pasta or pizza…

Virgin Mary Non Alcoholic Tomato Juice Drink;
Our take on the classic bloody mary!!!. We select the finest freshly picked vine ripened tomatoes we then juice the tomatoes down removing any skin and seed. Fresh lime juice is then added to the mixed, with a splash of Tabasco and a crack of sea salt and freshly ground pepper
Best served ice cold from the fridge a perfect drink for starting the day ( contains one of your 5 a day ). Or why not try in the evenings with addition of a shot of vodka and crushed ice...
