2010 saw ‘The Jelly Bean Factory’ introduce 100% Natural Flavours and absolutely no Artificial Colours, their gourmet jelly beans are accredited by the Vegetarian Society; they are Kosher certified and Halal compliant. They are also GMO Free, Nut Free, Gelatine Free, Gluten Free and perfect for Coeliacs. ‘The Jelly Bean Factory’ is also proud to support developing countries by using FAIRTRADE sugar in their 75g box range. They offer over 28 different packaging formats from boxes to tubes, cups to cans, tins to jars and bean machines to gift boxes.
The company produces gourmet jelly beans using a highly specialised hand made process and it takes two weeks to make each individual gourmet jelly bean. They are continuously investing in research and development to bring their customers an exciting selection of natural flavours presented in a range of premium high quality packaging to suit each market segment from impulse to sharing to gift.
The story of ‘The Jelly Bean Factory’ is an inspiring one. Since the establishment of the company in 1998 by father and son Peter and Richard Cullen, the company has achieved outstanding success in global markets. The entrepreneurial pair spotted a niche in the European market for gourmet jelly beans and from the first day of its establishment ‘The Jelly Bean Factory’ set themselves a challenge and today they export 97% of their products to over 50 countries worldwide. Their mission is “To produce and market the best gourmet jelly beans in the world, at affordable prices, with a reliable & efficient service and long term customer care”. ‘
The Jelly Bean Factory’ produces all of their gourmet jelly beans in their Global Standard “Grade A” manufacturing facility in Blanchardstown in Dublin and have been recognised for their outstanding achievements by receiving several awards both nationally and internationally. The company’s founders were finalists in the Ernst and Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award in 2010 and they were also finalists in The Design Business Irelands award in Branding and Identity.
