This autumn Little’s Speciality Coffee will be launching their first major brand extension for their flavoured instant coffees in the form of a single-serve stick pack.
The Devon-based speciality coffee roaster who have made a name for themselves in the speciality food sector with their range of flavoured instant coffees will be launching the new format at this year’s Speciality and Fine Food Fair at Olympia.
The company are responding to a surge in popularity of single-serve beverages of late and plan to launch the product in to both the retail sector as well as the out-of-home market.
Business Development Director Will Little commented: “This is a big deal for us. It’s the first time we’ve launched a new format of our flavoured instant coffees and it’s an opportunity for us to reach in to the food-to-go and out-of-home market. We can see the sticks working really well in hotel rooms, gyms, and anywhere where there is a need for a single serve portion. This is probably the sector of the market where we can make the most headway in terms of improving quality and we’ve proven that we can actually be price competitive against the likes of Nescafe and Kenco.”
The design of the new products are in line with a recent company-wide redesign and incorporates commissioned bespoke illustrations by local illustrator Cora Lee. The cartons are made from a recycled board and reverse printed giving the products an artisan and hand-crafted feel.
As with all Little’s products, the single-serve stick packs contain fantastically high quality Arabica coffee cleverly infused with their unique flavour recipes. All coffee is sourced responsibly and almost all the flavourings used are 100% natural. There is no added sugar, milk powder or artificial additives so the resulting drink is incredibly smooth yet rich with a naturally delicious flavour.
The single-serve sticks will be available in Little’s two most popular flavours; Rich Hazelnut and Bourbon Vanilla. Both varieties will be sold in cartons of 8 sticks (shown above) for the retail market and in cases of 200 for the out-of-home market. Prices TBA.
