Bacon Wrapped Shrimp with Mango Ginger Habanero Sauce

24 large raw prawn
24 strips of thin bacon
1 large fresh lime
450ml Fischer & Wieser Mango Ginger Habanero Sauce
Fresh coriander leaves, finely chopped

Shell and devein prawn leaving tails on. Wrap each prawn tightly with one slice of bacon. Thread 6 prawns on each skewer so that they lay flat on their sides on the grill. Grill on medium-high heat for 3 to 4 minutes per side until bacon is cooked and shrimp are pink. Spritz with half the lime while on the grill. Remove prawn to serving platter and spritz with remaining lime. Brush with Fischer & Wieser Mango Ginger Habanero Sauce. Sprinkle with chopped coriander leaves to garnish. Serves 4

Pork & Plum Chipotle Stir-Fry
Recipe Details
350 g pork fillet, cut into 1-inch cubes
30g cornflour
42.6ml peanut oil
4 large garlic cloves, peeled and smashed
1 large onion, halved, then sliced into 1/2-inch thick slices
1 large green pepper, cut into strips
55g slivered bamboo shoots
68ml chicken stock
450ml Fischer & Wieser Plum Chipotle Grilling Sauce
415g cooked white rice


Toss the pork fillet cubes in a bowl with the cornflour, coating all pieces well; set aside. Heat the peanut oil in a wok over high heat. When oil is very hot, toss in the smashed garlic cloves and stir fry until they are lightly browned. Remove the garlic with a slotted spoon and discard. Add the pork cubes to the hot oil and stir fry until they are seared on the outside, about 1-1/2 minutes. Remove with slotted spoon and set aside. Add the onion, green pepper and bamboo shoots to the skillet and stir fry for 2 minutes, or until onion is slightly wilted and transparent. Stir in the chicken stock and Fischer & Wieser Plum Chipotle Grilling Sauce, blending well. Add the pork cubes back to the wok and cook for 2 minutes to finish cooking the pork. Serve over hot rice. Serves 4
